Welcome to Vilon ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Vilon mobile application (the "App"). Vilon is designed for users aged 18 and older. By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

• Account Information: Display name and profile avatar image.
• User-Generated Content (UGC): Photos, voice recordings, text notes, memory entries, routine data, and any other content you create.
• Purchase Information: Records of in-app purchases including virtual currency (coins) transactions processed through Apple's App Store.
• Feedback: Messages or suggestions submitted through the in-app feedback feature.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Device Information: Device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and diagnostic data.
• Usage Data: App interaction patterns, feature usage frequency, and crash reports.
• Transaction Data: Purchase history and virtual currency balance for in-app purchase functionality.

2.3 Information We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect precise geolocation data.
• We do not access your contacts, calendar, or other personal data outside the App.
• We do not collect or store your payment card details. All payment processing is handled by Apple.

3. How We Use Your Information

• Provide, maintain, and improve the App's features and functionality.
• Store your memories, routines, voice logs, and other content locally on your device.
• Process and fulfill in-app purchases and manage your virtual currency balance.
• Process your feedback and respond to support requests.
• Monitor and analyze usage trends to enhance user experience.
• Ensure compliance with our Terms of Service and this Privacy Policy.
• Detect, prevent, and address technical issues or security threats.

4. In-App Purchases and Virtual Currency

4.1 Purchase Processing

All in-app purchases are processed through Apple's App Store payment system. We do not collect, store, or have access to your credit card numbers, bank account details, or other financial information. Apple handles all payment processing in accordance with their own privacy policy.

4.2 Virtual Currency (Coins)

The App offers virtual currency ("coins") that can be purchased through in-app purchases. Coins are used within the App to access premium features such as saving additional memories beyond the free tier. Your coin balance is stored locally on your device.

4.3 Refund Policy

All in-app purchases are final and non-refundable, except as required by applicable law. Refund requests must be directed to Apple through their standard refund process. Virtual currency has no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged, transferred, or redeemed for cash.

4.4 Promotional Offers

We may offer promotional or discounted coin packages from time to time. These offers are subject to availability and may be limited to one per account. Promotional pricing and availability are at our sole discretion.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your personal content is primarily stored locally on your device in the App's sandbox directory. We implement commercially reasonable security measures to protect your data. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share information only:

• When required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
• To protect the rights, property, or safety of Vilon, our users, or the public.
• With your explicit consent.

7. User-Generated Content (UGC) Policy

7.1 Prohibited Content

You must NOT create, upload, store, or share any content that:

• Contains sexually explicit, pornographic, or obscene material.
• Depicts or promotes nudity in a sexual context.
• Contains graphic violence, gore, or content designed to shock or disgust.
• Promotes, glorifies, or facilitates gambling or gambling-related activities.
• Promotes, glorifies, or facilitates the use, sale, or distribution of illegal drugs or controlled substances.
• Contains political propaganda, extremist ideologies, or content intended to incite political violence or unrest.
• Promotes discrimination, hatred, or violence against individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, or any other protected characteristic.
• Contains harassment, bullying, threats, or intimidation directed at any individual or group.
• Promotes self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders.
• Contains content that exploits or endangers minors in any way.
• Infringes upon intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or other legal rights of any third party.
• Contains spam, malware, phishing attempts, or other deceptive content.
• Violates any applicable law or regulation.

7.2 Content Moderation and Enforcement

• We reserve the right to review, monitor, and moderate user-generated content.
• We may remove or disable access to any violating content without prior notice.
• We may suspend or permanently terminate accounts of violating users.
• We may report illegal content to appropriate law enforcement authorities.

7.3 Reporting Violations

8. End User License Agreement (EULA) Acknowledgment

By using Vilon, you acknowledge and agree that:

• You are at least 18 years of age.
• You will not use the App to create, store, or distribute objectionable content.
• Vilon has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users.
• Violation may result in immediate account termination without refund of any purchased virtual currency.
• You grant Vilon the right to remove any content and terminate any account that violates these terms.
• You agree to indemnify and hold Vilon harmless from any claims arising from your use of the App.

9. GDPR Compliance (EEA Users)

9.1 Legal Basis for Processing

• Consent: Provided when you agree to this policy and create an account.
• Contract: Necessary to provide services and process purchases.
• Legitimate Interest: To improve services and ensure security.

9.2 Your Rights Under GDPR

• Right of Access, Rectification, Erasure, Restriction, Data Portability, Objection, and Withdrawal of Consent.
• You can delete your account and all data directly within the App.

9.3 Data Retention

Data is retained only as long as necessary. Account deletion permanently removes all local data. Purchase records may be retained by Apple per their policies.

10. Children's Privacy

Vilon is for users aged 18+. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. Contact info@vilonexpress.com if you believe we have.

11. Permissions

Camera, microphone, and photo library permissions are requested on demand only and never accessed in the background. Revoke anytime through device settings.

12. Account Deletion

Delete your account through Settings. All data including profile, memories, voice recordings, routines, and coin balance will be permanently removed. Purchased coins are non-refundable upon deletion.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
